Last night we celebrated not only their success, but also the strength of a close-knit PostgreSQL community in the Netherlands.
Together we pushed boundaries, uncovered new insights, and laid a solid foundation for the future. This group of experts is now ready to enter the PostgreSQL world with renewed knowledge and valuable connections that will inspire them for a long time to come.
On behalf of OptimaData, we thank all participants and trainers who made this program a success. Through this collective effort, and with the support of the PostgreSQL Usergroup NL, we’ve been able to graduate 8 database experts into the global PostgreSQL community. The future of PostgreSQL is in good hands!
PostgreSQL 16 Administration Cookbook
Joost Wasser was present on behalf of our partner EDB to present the participants with a congratulatory gift—to motivate and encourage them to keep putting what they’ve learned into practice. Each participant received the PostgreSQL 16 Administration Cookbook.
Festive touch
On every evening of this masterclass, we took care of the food—usually with live cooking by our colleague Pieter Groenendijk. For this celebratory evening, we prepared a beautiful buffet for them, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. A lovely, informal setting that also left room to share other things with one another.

The Blue Elephant Pack is part of and complementary to the PostgreSQL Usergroup NL. The participants of the Blue Elephant Pack are also members of the PostgreSQL Usergroup NL.
